OpenTX Sound Generator is a shell script for macOS/Linux/Unix allowing the creation of custom sound packs for your remote running OpenTX (an supporting voice feedback of course).
More info in the zeugri/taranisSoundGen repo on GitHub. The article in French on this blog.
The script was tested and working on :
- macOS Sierra 10.12.
- GNU/Linux (Raspberry PI running Raspbian), need mplayer as a dependancy.
The sound packs run perfectly fine on my FrSky X9D Taranis Plus running OpenTX 2.1.9 (opentx-taranisplus-lua-en-2.1.9.bin firmware file).
The OpenTX stock sounds packs are to be found on http://voices-21.open-tx.org (please read http://www.open-tx.org/downloads for more infos).
Take a look at this video on Painless360 Youtube channel, it fully describes the sounds installation and configuration (you can skip the first 7 minutes on sound generation on windows).
